Peel a Potato without a peeler
Remember MaryAnne from Gilligan's Island? Evidently, she knows more about how to peel potatoes than she does about how to get of a deserted island. :-)
Have you also checked out how to peel an ,egg by blowing on it? My grandson and I thought it was some kind of trick, so we tried it....yep, it works. We had a good time laughing.
that is a hoot!! i never thought about doing it like that. but i don't peel potatoes very often anyway! i love mashed potatoes with the skins in. fun to see her so many years later and still looking beautiful!
I think its Maryanne not Ginger :-)

ReplyDeleteThat would be good, but doesn't it cook the potato too? I do things the hard way, lol.
