July Giveaway- Fresh Bundle of Lavender

Those of you who have followed my blog for a long time won't be surprised by my July giveaway!  As well as owning Alderwood Quilts, my husband and I also own Sunset Lavender farm.  We'll start harvesting in about another week, and the harvest will run until the beginning of August.  We sell fresh bundles at local Farmers' Markets and we ship all over the U.S. through the Alderwood Quilts website.  Sadly, we can't ship the lavender internationally, because it is fresh and must arrive at their destination in a few days.  Most of my giveaways are open to everyone. but I must restrict entries this month only to readers in the U.S.  If you don't live in the U.S. but know someone who does- feel free to enter and I can send it to them if you win.

The winner will receive a fresh bundle of lavender, just like the one pictured above.  For one entry, just post a comment to THIS POST and let me know you'd like a chance.  For a second entry, if you are a follower (even if you just signed up) post a SECOND COMMENT TO THIS POST and tell me that you follow my blog.  You can receive a third entry if you have a blog of your own and tell your readers about this giveaway. Post a THIRD COMMENT TO THIS POST and let me know that you mentioned the giveaway on your blog.

I'll let the random integer generator select a winner on August 1st.  Please make sure you are not a "no comment" blogger- or that you somehow let me know how to contact you should you win.
The field is looking good.

The flower stems are growing taller each day and I'm starting to see a little purple on them.  I expect to start cutting in about another week to 10 days.
If, by chance, you live in the Portland area (west side), you'll be able to find us at the following farmers' markets:
Tuesdays at Cannon Beach
Wednesdays at Tannisborn
Saturdays at Downtown Hillsboro
Sundays at Orenco

If you're interested in purchasing fresh lavender and would like us to mail you a bundle (or 2), you can order it through the website.

Good luck!

In our area, it is in bloom almost all summer long. I'm not sure if it the same in all areas, but here it is a perennial. Yum lavendar love!
