My 200th Post!- Happy Valentine's Day!

WOW!  It's hard to believe I've written 200 posts to this blog!  Thank you for reading- it's what makes me want to write.  With all of the crazy things that have happened to me in the past months, I feel like I have a network of friends in cyberspace who care.  It's a good feeling.  It's fitting that today is Valentine's Day, because I LOVE blogging!  I love posting, I love reading your comments, and I love reading other blogs.  Thank you, all!

My hubby still has a very unhappy hand.  But every day is a little better.  He's pretty bored now.  Everything he wants to do requires physical energy or more than one hand... or the ability to drive.  All this will come in time.

I took him for a drive (his favorite thing right now) to Camp 18 for dinner last night for an early Valentine treat.  It's one of our favorite spots and it's a beautiful drive through the heavily wooded coast range.  It was about a 60 mile round trip- just about the limit of what he can handle right now.

Camp 18 is a family style restaurant in an amazing log cabin.  They also have a logging museum and lots of logging memorabilia and history. It's a popular spot for people driving between the Portland area and the Oregon Coast.
We had a nice, drive, a nice dinner, and a nice memory.

Thanks, again, for reading--- and here's to the next 200 posts!

Congratulations on your 200th Post - I enjoy the fact that you not only have "quilty" posts but also grow lavender on a much larger scale than a little ole' home gardener like me!
I have added your blog to my favorites list and look forward to your next 200 posts!
Sending good thoughts your way for your husband's smooth recovery too.

A belated congratulations on your 200th post and a Happy Valentine's Day. It kind of passed in a blur for me -- just another day when you don't have a sweetheart.

Bored -- that's a good sign that recovery is coming along! How about setting up one of those 1500 piece jigsaw* puzzles?

*No irony intended -- I only realized what it said after I typed it in .

Very funny. :-) I love puzzles but Wayne doesn't. He's pretty bored. He did come down to the shop to help me fill orders today. He charged the credit cards and printed postage with one hand while I cut fabric and packed the orders.

I love Camp 18! They have good french fries. Remember the french fry tour of Oregon?

Yes, Mel- who could forget the french fry diet!

Sure glad that your husband is getting better. I love the girl scout fabrics and that is a way to have those cookies with out the calories, heh? Just might have to purchase some.

Go visit my blog as I have a new creation in my etsy shop. Thanks
