Bonus when you order!

Do you like lavender?  For the entire month of December, 2012,  if you order anything at all on AlderwoodQuilts.com or SunsetLavender.com, I'll add a free lavender sachet to your order. (Sorry- we can only ship these within the U.S.)

These little sachets make great stocking stuffers, or little gifts for your quilting or knitting friends.  They're also great to keep in your car or in gym bags or lockers.  I keep one in my knitting basket and one in my notions basket that sits next to my sewing machine.  It just adds a little scent that makes me smile.

But wait- there's more!  Any domestic (U.S.) order over $50 ships for free during the month of December, 2012.  Smaller orders ship at our regular low shipping rates.

Note- our Sunset Lavender website is VERY new and small.... but keep watching over the coming months and see it grow.  At this point, you can order lavender on either the quilt site or the lavender site.

Tip for extending the life of dried lavender:  These little sachet bags will last for years if you press them between your fingers once in a while.  This crushes the dried buds and releases the oils.  You can freshen them in this way for years.

We also sell dried lavender buds in bulk.  You can use them for making your own sachets or for many other crafting purposes.

We had an extraordinary crop this past summer!  Our little farm yielded us 3,000 fragrant, long stemmed bundles.  We sold some fresh, had some distilled, and dried a LOT of it.  It's hard to believe that this field started just 5 years ago when we planted 300 tiny little 2 inch lavender starts.  Gotta love a field of purple!
